Arkansans Unite: Make a Visible Difference This Fall in the Great Arkansas Cleanup!

Join the statewide effort to beautify our communities from September 6 through October 31.

As autumn approaches, it's time for Arkansans to come together and enhance the beauty of our state through the Great Arkansas Cleanup.

Running from September 6 to October 31, this annual initiative invites residents to participate in local cleanup events, fostering community pride and environmental stewardship.

Organized by Keep Arkansas Beautiful, the Great Arkansas Cleanup provides volunteers with essential supplies, including trash bags, gloves, and safety vests, to ensure safe and effective participation.

In 2023, nearly 23,000 volunteers dedicated over 147,000 hours to remove 636 tons of litter from roadways, waterways, and public spaces across all 75 counties.

These collective efforts not only enhance the visual appeal of our communities but also contribute significantly to the state's economy, with an estimated impact of nearly $5.4 million.

Participating in the Great Arkansas Cleanup is more than just picking up litter; it's a powerful statement of community pride and a shared commitment to preserving our state's stunning natural beauty.

To get involved, individuals and organizations can register their cleanup events through the Keep Arkansas Beautiful website.

Registered groups receive support in organizing and publicizing their efforts, ensuring a coordinated and impactful cleanup.

By joining this statewide community improvement campaign, you can make a tangible difference in your local area and help keep Arkansas beautiful for generations to come.

Let's work together to make our state a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant place to live.

For more information and to register your event, visit the Keep Arkansas Beautiful website.

Remember, every small effort contributes to a larger impact.

Join the Great Arkansas Cleanup and be a part of this meaningful movement.
